Savy Charters is proudly owned and operated by Captain Serge Sauvageau. Serge has been fishing the Sooke basin off the coast of Vancouver Island for the past 40 years. His experinces make great fishing possible and great stories to listen to!

His love of fishing is contagious, his fish hunting skills are tough to match and his coffee isn’t bad either.

Serge speaks both french and english and can tell you in great detail about the local fishing, some of the resident whale pods & other marine life.

Serge brings the expertise, the boat, all the fishing gear and his humor. You bring a snack, fishing license and great expectations!

Serge captains a clean, safe, 1981 Glass Ply boat 23 ½ ft totally rebuilt from bottom up and fully customized to catch you fish. Bathroom and storage are available on board. Great stories and spirited salmon await you on those early morning charters.
